Review of BASEketball (1998) by Paul S — 26 Jan 2012

When I first heard this film title on its release I mispronounced it as "BAH-SEH-ketball" as what I originally thought. Now that I watched it I knew it would be fun for two 'South Park' creators to team up with 'The Naked Gun' director as a likely combination for a good comedy even though it was a embarrassing air ball at the box office.

But what the hey - it was the rude R-rated humor that made the film funny, and I liked it as I laughed through it. Whenever there's sportsmanship, there's always an excessive celebration every time the team scores victory, complete with the passion and triumph coming within themselves.
