Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Mark D — 09 Jun 2009

I don't know why I expect to be happy after watching a Coen Brothers movie. This movie was so bizarre, well rather, it's shifts were so bizarre, that I just had no idea what to think as I watched it.

I've always loved Turturro and Goodman has always been great, so the combo of the two of them was near perfect. Like every movie from the Coen's, I feel like another view must be given for me to fully appreciate it.

But as a writer myself, this scares me.
