Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Mike T — 05 Nov 2009
This is most definitely one of my favorite films from the Coen brothers, if not my number one favorite. It's a technically exquisite, wholly unique experience that glows with overwhelming oddity. I am so impressed with the way the film closes in, and the range of feeling that it stirs up.
Outstanding writing, acting, direction, art design, etc. One of the great American works of the 1990s.
