Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Andy M — 18 Nov 2008

Well, now this was mysterious, but I have my suspicions about the Coens' intentions. I heard they got writers' block writing their new film, and so decided to write a film about having writer's block.

As the film is so enigmatic and leaves many things unexplained, did they just think that they could present a mish-mash of ideas and vaguely connected pieces of information and images and think people will accept it? Either way it won many an award, so what do they care? Very stylish, great acting but I have a few questions.
