This was the first Coen Bros. film I ever saw and I think also the first John Turtorro film as well. Needless to say John Turtorro's playwright with high ideals and pride in his work is quite the character.
John Goodman's performance in this film is mesmerizing. There are points in the film where even I was feeling the incessant heat. Great actors in a story that seems to be leading to one end only to finish at another.
A great commentary on shrewd business tactics as well. The film is a work of art. A definite recommend.
