Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Kirk L — 03 Sep 2009
Easily the most puzzling Coen's film I've seen yet; moreso than even NCfOM. Regardless, the brothers once again construct a brilliant film. Though the characters are quite surreal, you can't help but feel some sort of emotional connection with them.
If you don't mind a film that doesn't lay it all out on the line for you, and requires multiple viewings, give Barton Fink a chance.
