There's a lot here, and it's a little too difficult and obtuse to parse, but it certainly caught my interest. The Coens are particularly adept in bringing you into their minds in their movies, and their minds are writers' minds.
It's a pretty twisted place, but great beauty can come out of there. So we have Barton Fink, which brings that juxtaposition to the fore.
