Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Conn M — 03 Mar 2011
The Coen brothers are renowned for their work and no wonder. This being one of their first critical acclaimed works, it was obivous they would become two of Hollywoods finest film makers. It took me awhile to understand what went on in this movie after it had finished.
It leaves so much to be explained but this ends up being the beauty of it. When you finally figure it out its so rewarding. The Coen brothers have alot of fucked up stuff in their heads, lets just leave it at that.
Its a smart movie.
