Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Mohamed F — 03 Aug 2010
I have some extremely mixed reactions about this flick, I feel it's one of the Coen's best, but I'm confused about what I think of it overall and what the movie is really about, it's one of the most obscure pictures I've ever seen, yet that only adds to its charm, and I actually interpreted it in multiple different ways.
The movie has it all, and it defies being contained in a single genre, the writing, cinematography and acting were all top notch.
