The Coens brothers' first foray into their unique brand of surrealist comedy is one of their most personal films. Made as a response to writers block, this film about the creative process (as well as the hurdles along the way) is marvelously abstract, inquisitive and relatable.
The excellent direction, art style, acting and script further allow this film to get a perfect rating.
