Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Adam D — 05 Feb 2012
Barton Fink's one of my favorite movies right now. This is a movie about the hell a writer puts himself/herself through only to be told he/she's no good. It's about the worthlessness of showing materialistic business pundits something remotely 'beautiful', and there's a real irony in the fact that we're seeing something pretty beautiful, if you follow me.
No other movie satirizes the writing process as well as this movie does. Not even Adaptation.
