Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Fred J — 15 Apr 2012
Still the Coen Brothers best and least understood film. There are ideas in here, similar to themes in Woody Allen's Bullets Over Broadway, but expressed with both more potency as well as more subtlety, more organic, more poetic and richer.
And the Allen film is pretty damn good and funny at that!
