Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Matthew N — 11 Aug 2014
Having watched most of the Coen brothers' movies, this is my favourite so far. Both the lead characters are absolutely stunning, and the plot is so perfectly compact and paced that it feels almost surreal, like David Lynch is having a kind of odd joke with us by making a real movie for once.
