Review of Bartok the Magnificent (1999) by Jessica F — 05 Aug 2010
This is another one of Don Bluth's 90's films that I don't consider to be bad. Even though this film was never released in theaters, that doesn't mean it 's bad. This prequel to the successful movie Anastasia is an enjoyable movie to watch, with good enough humor and a good enough story.
Although, one thing I'll admit is that even though it isn't a bad movie, it isn't really anything special. This kind of story line has been used more than once before, so it's not much different then those movies.
Another thing I add that I think is the most creative part of the movie is the potion Bartok gets from Baba Yaga that makes him what he is on the inside what he is on the outside 10 fold. This may not be a great movie, but it is still a decent movie and is good enough to watch.
