Review of Barry Lyndon (1975) by Buddy A — 31 Mar 2009
While this film clocks in at over three hours in length, it did hold my interest somewhat, mostly due to the breathtaking cinematography (filmed almost entirely in natural light). However, it does indeed move very, very slowly, particularly in the second half.
Not Kubrick's best, but not as bad as many make it out to be.
