Though not for everyone, Barry Lyndon is Stanley Kubricks highly stylized, beautifully shot period film following the life of Barry Lyndon and his lifes journey. Undoubtedly, this one will be too much for the average film goer to appreciate, the three hour epic to film buffs delivers amazing camera work, a career defining performance from Ryan O''Neal, and stands rank as one of Kubrick's finest films.
To hate Barry Lyndon is to hate art.
