Review of Barry Lyndon (1975) by Jose Felix M — 09 Mar 2009

A great great film, but not without it's problems. The film is long, 3 hours long, but the length of the film is not the problem, the pace of the film is what I think does a lot of people in, it is very slow, by the time most films are over, this film is just about halfway through and the scope of the film is so large that you never know where it is going next.

Visually stunning throughout, it's easy to see why it won so many awards for costume and art direction.
