Not Kubrick's best work, but a wonderful movie anyway. The last hour gets a little boring but Kubrick's direction is fantastic. The cinematography is top notch throughout, and the contrast in colors is beautiful.
Probably would have been better with someone other than Ryan O'Neal starring though.
