Review of Baron Blood (1972) by Andrew G — 28 Dec 2007
Forget plot or acting. Or gore for that matter. This is an almost meaningless movie except on a visual level: It's only interesting when everyone shuts up and starts running. Although gothic horror looks at its best in B&W, Bava does some memorable things with Techincolor.
Shame he has nothing but contempt for his cast.
