Dustin Hoffman saves this from being a total disaster. I enjoy Paul Giamatti but the script doesn't give him a chance. The casting is off also. Barney's true love doesn't fit as a woman who is dedicated to an angry drunk who occasionally acts semi sweet.
I can't see how this movie got such high ratings. Maybe people just fell asleep when they were watching and dreamed it was a better movie.
