I have always thought Paul Giamatti was a great actor. From the time I first saw him as "Pig Vomit" in 'Private Part,' I knew he was something special. Then along came John Adams on HBO, which I couldn't stop watching.
I thought that was his finest performance... until 'Barney's Version.' This look at a obnoxious, spontaneous man who meets the love of his life on his wedding day... to another woman (Minnie Driver) is LOL funny, touching, heart-breaking.
Kind of like life itself. 4 Ball Point Pens. And one of my faves of 2011. BTW, the love of his life, Miriam played by Rosamnud Pike is SMOKING HOT.
