Review of Barfly (1987) by Richard C — 09 Jul 2007
For my money, the best of the handful of Bukowski film adaptations. Factotum is reasonable, but Rourke shines here. Full of quotable, memorable scenes. If it doesn't make you want to down a fifth of scotch and start writing a novel, then frankly, you are already dead.
