Review of Barfly (1987) by Spyros T — 15 Apr 2011
I did not enjoyed this film so much as a movie, rather than as a collection of taglines and quotes.
The script written by Charles Bukowski himself as good as I expected. Every dialogue between Charles and Wanda, especially the one they have the first time they meet is a pleasure to watch.
Although Bukowski wanted Sean Penn to play the lead role, Rourke does a great -maybe his finest work.
