GREAT, GREAT, GREAT movie. It's funny, it's sad, it's touching, it's a love story, it's a tortured poet film - altogether a rather fascinating piece of semi-autobiographical work by Charles Bukowski.
Barbet Schroeder directs it perfectly and the supporting players are outstanding. DO NOT MISS THIS MOVIE!
