Review of Barefoot In the Park (1982) by Nora K — 18 Jul 2010
Only the charm of two very beautiful people, Robert Redford and Jane Fonda, keep this shrill and sitcom-ish Neil Simon 'filmed play' afloat on a sea of cliches - however, a game and remarkably spry Charles Boyer has fun with his part.
Maybe it plays better in a theater - Fonda's character is a bit too broad and cartoonish. I was waiting for Redford to give her a good slap.
