Barefoot tells the story about Jay and Daisy.

Jay is reckless. He's only really had relationships with strippers before. He keeps getting himself into trouble. He gets fired from almost all his jobs. His life is going absolutely nowhere.

Daisy is in need of an adventure. She's spent most of her life locked in her home. She doesn't know how to live. She's never been to a dance. She's never had a boyfriend. She's never had champagne or been to a wedding or been on a plane.

Now she's finally about to experience the adventure that she's always needed. When Jay's brother is getting married, Jay brings Daisy along as his date. All of a sudden she's about to experience the feelings that she's never felt but always been longing for and he's about to find love where he least expects it.

This is a sweet movie about love and life and everything in between. Both Evan Rachel Wood and Scott Speedman were great as Jay and Daisy - the two people that weren't meant to fall in love but did.
