Barbershop: The Next Cut has cause for applause...
They cleverly used Barbershop and their celebrity to make a powerful statement. It reached across generations. Many will come for the humor. They'll get that, and then some.
I think the movie really could have been top notch as well as top 'box office' if they used top notch actors. The very first movie had all of that. This one seemed to come off more like standup comedy. But they pulled it off okay.
