It's been 12 years since the last Barbershop movie, so I was surprised this was being made. and I can say with confidence that I really liked this movie. it was very surprising, and really a breath of fresh air.
it has some really heartfelt and touching moments, and the messages portrayed are very serious and still very relevant. it portrays the problem with gang violence in Chicago and handles it extremely well.
it's also very funny, I caught myself laughing at a lot of the parts. and I loved the cast. everyone here was great, I thought and fir their roles very well. Barbershop 3 was a surprising movie in that it's a long belated sequel that actually works and it actually good.
