Review of Barbershop (2002) by Keeley D — 07 Jun 2007
Ice Cube proves that he can handle a comedic role, definitely. But, hands-down, Cedric the Entertainer held the movie down, with his witty jokes and heart-felt opinions about daily life. Each barber has their own story that comes together with the rest of them.
I also was enjoying Eve's performance. Here's another rapper that makes the acting transistion look like a breeze. It's worth the occasional view on the cable channels.
