Review of Barbershop (2002) by Ifiok O — 12 Oct 2009
Most of my memories from my child hood involved trips to the barbershop, and I would recall all the banter that went on between the barbers and the customers. This movie is as authentic as it can get. Ice Cube lends a certain quality to this comedy, reminscent of 'Friday.
' The supporting cast play up to the previous sensibilities I spoke about, making this easy to watch.
