Review of Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004) by Adam B — 03 Dec 2007
A brilliantly composed symphony of color. Director Kevin Rodney Sullivan is nothing short of a master when it comes to illustrating beautifully the struggles of the underpriviledged working-class. This film has paved innumerable roads towards our destination, a symphathetic and realistic understanding of race.
You will laugh.
You will cry.
You will ululate with joyous radiance as Calvin triumphs over the evil corporate giant that threatens to destroy everything he so nobly stands for.
I think I have soiled myself and can no longer radiate the greatness that is this masterwork. A must-see before you expire.
