Review of Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004) by Jason Y — 28 Jun 2004

[b]DVD [/b]First Viewing, 1 Sullivan film seen.

I need to start off by saying that I am a huge [i]Barbershop [/i]fan. The dialogue in the actual barbershop is fascinating, and while it seems more of a service to the audience in this sequel, [i]Back in Business [/i]is a better-than-average part two. It is essentially the same film as the first, but the characters were intriguing enough to warrant another 100 minutes with them. Cedric the Entertainer gives another great performance as Eddie, and Queen Latifah gets a little screen time to promote her spin-off [i]Beauty Shop[/i] due out later this year. With that said, I wouldn't mind seeing a [i]Barbershop 3: Keep On Keepin' On [/i]out in 2006.
