Review of Barbershop 2: Back in Business (2004) by Nathan W — 29 Jun 2005
"Barbershop" was a refreshing and good-natured comedy, while the sequel is unfunny, unfocused, and sluggish. The colorful conversations of Calvin's Barbershop are dwarfed by stupid subplots involving a high-tech rival across the street, threats from the city council to close the shop down, and the women in the adjacent beauty parlor.
Do yourself a favor and watch the original instead..
