I have finished the book before watching the movie! it's fascinating!! I started to love private equity, leveraged buyout and specially KKR since then~!! Once again, Wall St. shows us that greed is good!
I gave 3 stars to the movie, but I still remain my rating of the original book at a 5 star~ the movie just skip so many details (e.g. the role of Salomon Bro, First Boston, Forstmann Little...etc although none of them aren't winners, they took significant roles in the deal, also the story of the young Ross Johnson).
