Review of Baraka (1992) by Amber B — 31 Jan 2009
This is a documentary without spoken words, but it does have music and chanting. The natural world, peoples, and things humans have built are beautifully filmed. There are some time-lapse images which are memorable.
The music suits the images. It's interesting to have flashbacks on various segments; it's hard to predict just what impressions will resonate in the future.
