Review of Baraka (1992) by Lynda H — 02 Dec 2009
When I first saw the Box For Baraka I was ver interested in seeing it. My friend told me that it had no story and no dialogue, which I must say put me off seeing it. But I picked up the box and rented it. Watched It... And I must say this film is a work of Art... When I say Baraka Is One Of The most Visually Stuning Films Ever Made, I mean It. In Terms Of Visual Qaulity I always Say Nothin Beats Blade Runner. Baraka Is On Par Visually with Blade Runner. It Is A Stunning Film To Look At. I Really Mean That, You Will Get Your Moneys Worth On The Visuals Alone. If There Is Ever A Film That Both denies And Proves The Existence Of God Then This IS It. Through The Visuals you get a sense of how magnificent Our Planet Really Is. But You Also Feel how Mankind Is destroying the planet. This film Is Brilliant, It shows Us Life outside of our rural areas and opens our eyes to a very magnificent World. But Also Opens The Heart As Most Of That Beuty May Be destroyed By Man. Baraka Is Certainly Worth The Watch And Nobody at a first watch would think it was made in 1993. Whilst watching it I thought it was a recent film because of how stunning the film looks. Buy It Or rent It And You Will Get Your Moneys Worth... This Film Is Like I said Earlier... A Work Of Art.
5/5.
