Review of B.A.P.S (1997) by Jonathan G — 19 Sep 2009
As annoying as the film is, stars Halle Berry and Natalie Desselle give it their all, and the end result is a slightly charming, somewhat fractured fairy tale. The material is mediocre and mildly low brow - I can even see how some people would find it down right offensive at times.
But the chemistry between Berry and Desselle is there, and when the two hit their marks, "B.A.P.S." is fun to watch. As a whole, the movie is forgettable. But while watching it, it's sure to put a slight smile on your face and entertain you, at a least for a bit.
