Review of Bank Holiday (1938) by Joel A — 15 Oct 2014
A very well made drama by Master English Filmmaker Carol Reed & staring WWII British favourite Margaret Lockwood.
This is a simple but effective film about a nurse who delivers a baby & sadly the mother doesn't make it & the woman reassess her current relationship & can't help to be drawn to this sad man.
The film is just believable & moves very well...the English films of the war era are just so great & worth a watch.
