Review of Bangkok Dangerous (2008) by Zach M — 28 Mar 2011
Another Americanization of a foreign film.
It wasn't bad, but it seems rather cliche that the main character starts the movie by reciting the 'rules' of the business and then immediately tosses the handbook away and makes all the mistakes he has already said kill most others in his business.
At the very least, the ending was what I was hoping for -- which is to say that it was NOT the happy 'get away scot-free with the girl in tow' kind of ending -- and that's the only reason that this movie got back to two stars.
