Review of Bangkok Dangerous (2008) by Ken C — 21 Dec 2010

This is another one of those movies that got such a bad reputation but really isn't all that bad. I mean yes the actors even Nic Cage look rather bored and everything is so dark and gloomy, but it's surprisingly very entertaining and Joe the lead character is pretty likeable. It could have been written a little tighter in terms of dialogue and character developement, strangly however it doesn't quite leave a huge impression on me, in fact you could almost say I don't care. I love the action, I love the badass look on Nic's face when he shoots someone and the ending I actually found pretty sad.

I might be being too generous with this movie because of the presence of Nic Cage on screen so I think that the only way that I could reccomend this is to Nicolas Cage fans and Nicolas Cage fans only, unless your in the mood for some good crap.
