Review of Bandslam (2009) by Karen K — 22 Aug 2009
Some might call it cheesy, but my kids and I liked it. Will moves to NJ and away from the hell that has been his life at school and has the opportunity to find a place to fit in... managing a rock band to compete in a big high school competition called "Bandslam." Along the way he finds friendship (with a girl, no less), his first love (also with a girl, thank goodness), and locates an inner strength he didn't know he had.
Fun, great music, and family friendly.
