Fascinating chemistry among the eclectic leads, topped with a strange and wonderful performance by Thornton, went largely unheralded by critics. Indeed it is the wonderful acting that redeems a plot which drags all too often.
One of the best "feel-good" comedies I've ever seen. Shot largely in Oregon.
