"Band of Keepers" is a refreshingly light movie that manages to pack action, comedy, suspense, and a hint of romance all into one hour and 33 minutes. The movie, locally produced in Sacramento, CA, follows the story of Gabriella (played by actress Gabrielle Niebauer) and her friends on an epic journey when her life is turned upside down by the recent passing of her father.

Together with her quirky, interesting, and likable friends, Gabriella encounters the adventure of a lifetime. This movie was exactly what a movie should be: entertaining! It provided twists and turns at all the right opportunities and kept you engaged until the last minute.

As a viewer, you get to know the main character as you watch her embark on this adventure and you will feel her emotions alongside her every step of the way. "Band of Keepers" was a joy to watch, especially knowing that it was locally made, so you're supporting young adults in their careers by watching this film.

Overall, the personable and relatable cast of characters, unconventional plot, humor, and mix of genres incorporated into this film make it a movie that I will not only watch again but one that I will recommend it to others to watch as well!
