Iâ??ve only recent begun to view Allens early features and I must say Iâ??m impressed. Predating Mel Brooks and Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker, this slapstick comedy contains one-liners aplenty and is overall good, goofy fun.
Thereâ??s a madness surrounding this production and only a little hint of political satire. When it hits the spot (and that happens quite a lot) weâ??re blessed with comedic gold. Very enjoyable.
