Review of Bamboozled (2000) by Mimi W — 10 Jul 2007
One of Spike Lee's best, this movie is wild. It's all about race- how it shapes who we are, what we do, what we think is acceptable, how we market ourselves, how we interact with each other. Best scene: when the white rapper watches while all the black rappers are gunned down and he begs the police to shoot him cuz "i'm black, too!".
