Film studies professors will point to this and say "this is a great film" and guess what, that's why they're teaching and not doing. Possibly the most pretentious film ever, and no one but pretentious wannabe artists or wannabe activists could ever lose themself in the story and then learn.

The movie is too self aware and too alienating, leaving the ordinary audience goer (Who is the actual person who needs to hear this message) saying "This is annoying" rather than "Wow, that was cool and had a great message too!".
