Review of Bamboozled (2000) by Its Gotta Be The Shoes [Tru Skool] — 02 Oct 2008

Spike makes another masterpiece with Bamboozled. A heavy handed satire that really bothered people both black and white. The genius of Spike is that he makes a lot of Mantan and Sleep N' Eat's dialogue is funny but once you realize that you are laughing at the ugliest portrayal of blacks, you tend to get uncomfortable.

Spike sparked a lot of conversation with this film and made us realize how much of the buffoonery still goes on to this day through music and television.
