Review of Bambi II (2006) by Tristan P — 01 Nov 2010
Not really bad. But it's more noisy than the first film. The original film was slight on dialogue and this one has plenty more than it needs. And the characters of Bambi and Thumper have drastically changed as well as Ronno. The coolness of his character from the first film is dampened by the revelation of him as a crybaby at a young age.
Still, it's worth watching for the nice visuals (which pay excellent tribute to Ty Wong's designs) and Patrick Stewart is well cast as the Great Prince.
