Review of Bambi II (2006) by David Jordan H — 23 Feb 2011
As the sequel to Bambi, this could have gone horribly wrong, but upon seeing it, I was pleasantly surprised as to just how good it actually is.
The basic story helps to fill in a large gap from the original movie between the moment that Bambi loses his mother, and him appearing as an adult deer.
It follows the difficult task faced by his father, who at first, has no idea what he is supposed to do, but as time goes on, everything gradually works out for the better.
The animation and artwork in this sequel in particular is beautiful, and with a nice strong story, Bambi 2 compliments the classic original, and does the franchise justice.
