Review of Bambi (2013) by David F — 25 May 2010
Classic animated feature is short on plot, but like the earlier Fantasia, showcases a lot of stunning and groundbreaking animation techniques in an earnest attempt to recreate the natural world. Oh, and the little critters are cute.
Great family viewing, though the sudden death of you-know-who may traumatize the younger kiddies. First half is definitely more memorable than the second.
